The Lil’ John (2) FUZZ is nasty! Dripping like a sweaty taint, the fuzz tone is gated and Velcro-ish no matter what the Gate setting is. Even with the Gate off, the Lil’ Fuzz yields staccato sustain and nasty fuzz tone with moderate output and gain levels. Kicking in the Lil’ (1) Boost is like thumping a wildebeest in the danglies, the volume goes through the roof, perfect for a lead boost. The boost stays clean until about 3 o’clock, then it gets scratchy and starts fuzzin out as the transistor bias changes. With the Boost all the way up, there is added gain and grit for a huge ballsy (pun intended) fuzz tone that will make your neighbor sweat.
